    Distributed Checksum Clearinghouse Graphs
These graphs are of mail messages instead of addressees. A single message addressed to 1 or 1000 people is counted as 1 in the graphs. Mail messages with total target counts larger than 10 are bulk and so likely spam. Messages with target counts of millions or "many" have been declared spam by at least one DCC client. The Spam Ratios are of likely spam or trapped spam to the total number of messages. DCC client programs can reject or discard bulk mail that is likely spam as well as trapped spam.

    Spews of Spam
This graph is related to the number distinct streams of spam seen all DCC clients in the global DCC network, not the total number of unsolicited bulk email messages. The numbers on the vertical axis are millions of apparently distinct streams. They are proportional to but not equal to size of the database at any single DCC server and the total number of streams of spam in the Internet as seen by the DCC checksums.
